Good thing the drain for my deck went in, lots of snow today.

Remember the drain from my deck that goes into Linda's kitchen?  Well, that is taken care of and is now routed out to the side of the house and will be tied into the gutters at some time.  If I remember correctly, it rained through the night and Linda was up at about 3am taking care of the water pouring through the house. I slept through it all.

Plumbers did their thing today. The new bathroom on the main is right above the basement bathroom, so they dug a hole in there to tie in the new stack.

So what do you think of my view?  With a little imagination the clay roof could be Tuscany or some other Italian village.

I was out first thing this morning and when I came back at 9am there were two guys on a ladder trying to get on the roof.  Turns out they were the roofers.  Have to give them credit, they were trying to get the job done.  We didn't know they were coming, but I sure am happy to see them. We got our roof today!!!

Gabe is still out doing his ride along.  Will is continuing on the siding where the old back door was located, what would have been my entrance to my suite. Looks good considering what they had to work with.
